Support from the East Devon AONB

“We would like to showcase your ongoing endeavours in East Budleigh after having received some financial support from our Making it Local programme, which contributed to new refrigeration equipment. We set up the Ambassador scheme last year as part of our Golden Anniversary celebrations and are keen to continue to recognise all those individuals, groups and businesses who do such wonderful things for their community and are proud to be in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.

East Budleigh Shop is now an Ambassador. See here

Links to some of our Suppliers:-

Gibson’s Plaice for supplies of wonderful fresh fish and small packs, all sealed for you to carry safely home. Come and see the range – Cod, Plaice, Crab meat etc.

Devon Scones – now supply us with fresh plain, current and cheese scones.  Delicious with Devon Butter or some of their chutney. We carry a range of chutneys, marmalade and preserves.

East Budleigh Shop is only 5 minutes drive away from Bicton Park or a scenic 20 minute’s walk. Why not walk over from the Park and have a drink and snack in our Shop before returning.

Supporting the Shop and Volunteering

We have a very social band of volunteers who make our shop the great place it is.
If you have an hour or more to spare why not help as a volunteer. We think you will enjoy it.
Just call into the shop and ask for Anne or Mel who will be happy to chat about it and explain what is involved.

The happy band of volunteers enjoy the experience, make good friends and feel they are a real part of the community, which they truly are.
